Started using Blender recently as an exploration into 3D modeling.  The tutorials at blenderunderground.com are great to start-off this experience for anybody looking to start learning this excellent open-source 3D software.  One of these tutorials do help you make a small tin-can as a simple model to practice the skills on.  After I was done with these tutorials, I got a hold of another one, excellent tutorial to make a snowman in a winter-scene.  Here’s the link.
